A legendary case! Cosme Damião wrote down once that a goalkeeper is born to be a goalkeeper, a goalkeeper can’t be “made”. That was the case of José Henrique. Still a young boy, he spontaneously came to Benfica to try his luck in the youth categories. With the shirt he inherited from the mythical Costa Pereira, he summed 13 seasons, 416 matches, eight Championships, three Portuguese Cups and a European Champions Clubs’ Cup final.
